Multi-Turn (handmade timber staircases) - a BRAND WE LOVE

As you have probably heard, this year I have had the pleasure of helping TV and Theatre sensations Danny Mac and Carley Stenson design their dream home. This involves working with a number of brands we love.. some old faces and some new.

One of the first ones on board was Multi-Turn - specialists in timber staircases handmade in Britain. Based in Hampshire, they have been creating quality made to measure staircases for trade and private homeowners since 1989! And they have quickly made it on to our list of 'Brands We Love'!

They have an expert team that guide you, step by step, throughout your project journey. From your initial designs right through to delivery and installation on-site. They are a family run business (spanning a fantastic three generations) who focus on traditional values and aim for nothing but exceptional service.

Over the past 30 years, they have successfully established an impressive reputation within the building industry as the South's leading timber staircase manufacturer and they pride themselves on their elite industry knowledge and experienced artistry, creating a premium product every time.

One of the things we loved as designers is their customer service, which is at the heart of everything they do. From the way they value their customers to the finished product itself, every step of the process has been refined to ensure they meet exceptional standards which we then pass to our clients.

And of course, as you already know, I am a sucker for companies who are aware of their responsibility towards creating a more sustainable planet.

From recycling offcuts - during the summer months, they shred it for animal bedding... and in winter, they use it to heat the workshop, to FSC-sourced timber, Multi-Turn continually makes efforts to reduce their overall carbon footprint, this includes the workshops solar panels which generate 26,000 kWh of electricity annually.

The timber they use to construct your staircase is sustainably sourced, meaning you can be confident that you're helping to keep the forests alive for generations to come, and not just that you're using a company that is.

As if this wasn't enough, Multi-Turn's a hub for project inspiration at your fingertips! From practical advice on building regulations to the latest trends in building and architecture, there's something for everyone at any step of their staircase journey.

Multi-Turn's blog is also an inspiration in itself, covering not just Multi-Turn news but expert advice on everything from 'how to look after hardwood stairs', to the 'benefits of using timber staircases'.

It's no wonder Danny and Carley wanted them on board with their project. See Danny and Carley visiting the showroom here or visit see the showroom in more detail via video here.

I am sure Create Perfect will be using them on many projects in the future and look forward to sharing the finished pieces with you all. In the meantime, if you want advice on your own staircase or would like to book a chat with a designer at Multi-Turn - contact here.
