I think we can safely say it is now OK to talk about Christmas. Don't you agree? It's in full swing on your high streets and most places are fully booked for Christmas work dues and parties.
We have already discussed advent calendars, take a look here if you missed it.. so now lets turn our attention to baubles. For stores, Christmas is coming earlier every year. Selfridges opened their Christmas Shop in August last year, closely followed by the Liberty Christmas shop in September. If you work in any kind of media it can start even earlier than that with interiors magazine stylists having already needed their Christmas room set shot ready to hit the shelves in November. Whats-more those big TV ads are already in the can and just receiving their final polish, ready to make them sparkle on our screens (one of the many things I love about Christmas).
So you can probably guess what's been popping in to my inbox... yes it's been full of Christmas decorations and I've decided to share some of my favourites with you. Here are some of the trends that we can look forward to seeing on our Christmas trees this year.
A Colourful Retro Holiday
There was lots of colour in the new wave of Christmas decorations. A happy holiday vibe of kitsch colours reminiscent of a old painted metal children's toys and the holiday season in the hot sunny days of warm countries.

John Lewis is offering a rainbow of colour with brightly coloured baubles for the festive season. They are predicting the rainbow colour trend to be big this Christmas following a summer where sharing colourful pictures was popular on social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest.
